Issue of Sumgait Pogrom to be discussed at French parliament

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: Coordination Council of Armenian Organizations in France organizes February 26-29 a number of events dedicated to the Azerbaijani-Armenians who have fallen victim to the Sumgait Pogrom, the council informed Armenpress.

On February 26 a liturgy will be chanted in St. John the Baptist Armenian Apostolic Church, Paris. On the same day wreaths will be put at the monument of Komitas, a commemoration event will be held.

In the evening of February 27 a rally will be held in 9th district municipality of Paris, in which Nagorno Karabakh Culture Minister Narine Aghabalyan will participate.

A meeting-discussion entitled "Truth and Falsification" will be held February 29 in National Assembly of France within the frameworks of "Peace to Karabakh" series of events.
