YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 22, ARMENPRESS: The British party is satisfied with the results of the cooperation extended within the frameworks of "Skills for Employability" British Council program.
More than 50 lecturers have been trained in Armenia and United Kingdom as a result of the cooperation of Yerevan State Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry and UK Craven College.
"The cooperation focused on involving of lecturers, students and social partners in the sphere of education," Arthur Vardanyan, Director of the Armenian-Greek College of Tourism, Service and Food Industry, told a press conference, Armenpress reports.
According to him, the study of the British experience and the achievement of new professions were efficient both for lecturers and students. Arthur Vardanyan said the British partners had a great wish to involve students who study tourism, both from this college and other universities, in exchange programs.
"We are impressed by the steps undertaken by social partners and Armenian government in the line of providing efficiency of the program," said the International Program Coordinator of the Craven College. He noted that cooperation is a good experience to agree the updated educational approaches with up-to-date requirements of the labor market.
"It is important for learners to enjoy the education. It gives more tangible results," said the program coordinator.
