STEPANAKERT, FEBRUARY 17, ARMENPRESS: Armenian delegation led by the Deputy Chairman of the National Assembly Eduard Sharmazanov arrived in Stepanakert February 17 to attend a conference dedicated to 20th anniversary of declaration of independence of Nagorno Karabakh. Receiving the guests, Chairman of the NKR's National Assembly Ashot Ghulyan said a number of issues which are under the limelight of international structures today, should be discussed jointly.
Attaching significance to the meeting, Sharmazanov said the Artsakh issue is one of the most important issues of all Armenians and everything will be done for the efficiency of the exerted efforts. "Participation of Armenian parliamentary delegation in the conference is very important. Irrespective of party belonging in Armenia and in the parliament in particular, everyone is united in the fight for international recognition of the Artsakh Republic," he said.
The conference entitled "20th Anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Nagorno Karabakh: Realities and Perspectives" is organized by the Armenia's Constitutional Law Center, Armenian Association of Political Science.
