Money awards to leading Armenian athletes

With the decree of the Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan about 106 Armenian athletes and their coaches who reached good results at the world and European championships in 2011 have been granted money awards.

Governmental press office told Armenpress that among the awarded athletes are weightlifter, second prize-winner at the European championship Arayik Mirzoyan, silver-winner of women weightlifting European championship Hripsime Khurshudyan, Greco-Roman style wrestlers Roman Amoyan, world champion, Arsen Julfalakyan, second prize-winner, bronze medal winner of the European championship Yuri Patrikeev, world youth championship winners Narek Khachatryan and Rafik Manukyan.

Members of the Armenian chess team who won the title of world champions Levon Aronian, Sergey Movsisyan, Vladimir Hakobyan, and others have also received money awards.
