February 19th, marking the birthday of renowned Armenian writer and poet Hovhannes Tumanyan, is celebrated nationwide as Book Giving Day, a tradition that emphasizes the importance of reading in our lives.
To celebrate this occasion, the Armenian Conference Interpreters Association, which views social responsibility as a fundamental part of its mission, has donated a varied selection of books to Metsavan School No. 1 in Tashir. The collection features Armenian historical fiction, contemporary works from the Babylonian Library series, and other literary pieces.
The Association also demonstrated its commitment to community initiatives by celebrating International Translation Day at the Aram Khachaturian House-Museum on September 30, 2024, further supporting the preservation and growth of this important cultural landmark.
