YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 25, ARMENPRESS. Former President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovich has announced that he supports Ukraine’s territorial integrity, “Armenpress” reports, citing “Ria Novosti”, he told at a press conference in Rostov-on-Don.

“I am for Donbas to be within Ukraine so as the territorial integrity is preserved”, he said.

According to him, he has been against Donbas’s separation from the beginning “though it was an emotional outburst by people who had a negative stance on the riots when the extremists started to shed blood”.

Yanukovich stated that it is necessary to stop shooting and withdraw troops to find a settlement.
