YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. Chief of General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces Hulusi Akar held a meeting with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of US Joseph Dunford in Ankara, Anadolu reports.

At the meeting the sides discussed regional security issues, in particular the recent developments in Iraq and Syria. They also talked about the necessity of fighting against the Islamic State terrorist group.

The Turkish side also expressed concern over the activities of Gulenists in the US.
