YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. German Justice Minister Heiko Maas announced that the German side will not make extraditions within the framework of the politically motivated investigations in Turkey, Deutsche Welle reports.

“In terms of serious crimes, premeditated murders and similar other crimes committed in Turkey, then we will discuss the issue in case of an extradition demand. However if the judicial procedure is based on political motivations, there cannot be a discussion on extradition whatsoever”, he said.

The Minister condemned the arrests of journalists in Turkey, and the police operations against the Cumhurriyet news agency.
