YEREVAN, MAY 26, ARMENPRESS.  Ombudsman of Armenia Arman Tatoyan had a meeting with Council of Europe Special Representative of the Secretary General on Migration and Refugees Tomáš Boček in Strasbourg on May 26.

Issues related to the rights of refugees and asylum seekers, protection of vulnerable persons in conflict zones and improvement of legal documents were discussed.

In particular, the protection of the rights of the disabled, children and women was discussed.

Tatoyan introduced the new constitutional status of the Ombudsman’s Office of Armenia and its priorities.

Boček and Tatoyan stressed the importance of the protection of rights of the refugees.

Boček expressed willingness to cooperate with the Ombudsman on various issues.
