YEREVAN, MAY 4, ARMENPRESS. The Defense Ministry of Armenia conducts relevant analyses of possible actions of Azerbaijan, as well as assessment of armed forces of both Armenia and Azerbaijan. Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan told the reporters at the National Assembly, commenting on the movements and conglomeration of Azerbaijani troops on Karabakh-Azerbaijan contact line. “Of course, the situation on the front line is tense and at any moment any operation can start”, “Armenpress” reports Ohanyan saying.  

He assured that the NKR Defense Army fulfills the tasks put before it excellently. “The Defense Army is ready to implement defensive, as well as other tasks”. The Minister stated.

To the question if there will be another war, Ohanyan answered that at the moment there is only temporary truce.

“I always recognize my motherland”, Seyran Ohanyan said, answering the question of what is his position on recognizing Nagorno Karabakh Republic by Armenia.
