YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Member of Armenian national weightlifting team Vanik Avetisyan won the 12th place in World Championship.

“Armenpress” reports that Avetisyan lifted 140 kg in snatch and 117kg in clean and jerk with an overall result of 317 kg. He occupied the 12th place.

World Weightlifting Championship kicked off on November 20 and will finish on 28. Tigran Martirosyan, Andranik Karapetyan (77kg), Simon Martirosyan (105kg), Ruben Aleksanyan and Gor Minasyan (+105kg) of our team will compete in the championship.
