YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. 12 month inflation rate of last year exceeded the predictions reaching 4.6% at the end of December which was in the permissible bound of the confidence band of 4.0+1.5 pp. It is explained by the impact of sharp decline of currency influx at the end of the year and rubble inflation, depreciation of dram and inflationary expectations caused by the mentioned factors. “Armenpress” reports that the Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Republic of Armenia, Nerses Yeritsyan, mentioned about this during the discussion of annual monetary policy report of 2014 at the National Assembly.

He also added that the high inflation at the end of the year is the result of upsurge in prices of imported goods.
