YEREVAN, OCTOBER 5, ARMENPRESS. On the occasion of the master of sports, the legendary captain of “Ararat” football club Hovhannes Zanazanyan’s demise a funeral committee was organized by the order of the president of Armenian Football Federation Ruben Hayrapetyan.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the committee, Hovhannes Zanazanyan’s requiem will be held on October 5 from 18:00 to 20:00 o’clock, in Saint Hovhannes Church. Funerals will be held on October 6, at 14:00.

In 1973, as a player of the Ararat football team he was USSR champion, and Cup-winner in 1973 and 1975. In 1971 and 1973 he was involved in the list of the 33 best players of USSR.
