YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 28, ARMENPRESS. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed preparations for the Normandy Format meeting that is scheduled to take place on October 2 in Paris, a news release on the president’s official site said.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 70th session of the UN General Assembly underway in New York. “Armenpress” reports the aforementioned referring to Sputnik International.

“The Chancellor noted that the situation in Ukraine had an important significance for the global security,” the news release said Sunday.
