4 injured due to shots towards Tavush villages

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 4, ARMENPRESS. A military officer and 3 civilians were injured resulting from Azerbaijani firing towards Tavush Province villages on September 3. “Armenpress” reports that the information was confirmed by the press secretary of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia Artsrun Hovhannisyan. The latter informed that the military officer’s life is not in danger.

“I can’t tell you any information about the civilians’ lives as it is not controlled by us, they were transferred to hospitals. The health condition of the   military officer is satisfactory; his life is not in danger.  He was transferred to Yerevan.”, said Artsrun Hovhannisyan.

According to him the situation is comparatively calm now. “The situation was very tense yesterday but less tense compared to previous days. Mortars and different caliber fire-arms were used again. The rival was silenced by the counterfire of the Armenian party.”
