YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 3, ARMENPRESS. The rival continued to intensively violate the ceasefire regime during festive and pre-festive days of September 2 and 3. As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of the NKR Defense Ministry, the ceasefire regime has been violated nearly 250 times during the mentioned period during which over 5000 shots were fired in the direction of Armenian border protecting units from different-caliber weapons, including 60 and 82mm mortars, RPG-7 grenade launcher and AGS-17.

In addition to the above mentioned weapons the enemy also used Turkish made TP-107 reactive rocket launcher.

Counter measure operations of the front line units of the Defense Army silenced the enemy.

“It should be mentioned that in the recent period the enemy started to practice large caliber artillery reactive weapon which the Azerbaijani propaganda tries to refute without success.
