YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS.  On August 28, President Serzh Sargsyan received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Egypt to Armenia, Mohamed Alaaeldin Saad Elleissy, who completes his diplomatic mission in our country.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Mass Media of the President’s Staff of the Republic of Armenia, the President of the Republic expressed gratitude to Saad Elleissy for his efforts aimed to develop Armenian-Egyptian relations and wished him success.

Serzh Sargsyan mentioned with satisfaction that bilateral intergovernmental relations activated, the agenda for cooperation expanded, mutual visits were paid by the Presidents and Prime Ministers and all preconditions were developed for deepening and strengthening relations during the tenure of Ambassador Saad Elleissy. The President hoped that the next Ambassador will fully utilize those preconditions by fulfilling his mission with fresh enthusiasm and devotion in favor of the two friendly nations and states.

Ambassador Saad Elleissy expressed gratitude for the kind words and appreciation, assuring that he spared no efforts to develop relations between Armenia and Egypt during his 4.5-year tenure and leaves our country with the best memories, remaining the perpetual friend of Armenia.
