YEREVAN, AUGUST 28, ARMENPRESS. Many camera and symphonic concerts, famous guests, Armenian premieres of music: 3rd Aram Khachaturian International Festival starts on October 3. The event organized by State Youth Orchestra of Armenia (SYOA) for the 3rd year will not disappoint music lovers. 

”Armenpress” was informed by Orchestra's Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Sergey Smbatyan that this year’s festival will be more large scale than the one in 2014.

“It’s a very important year for us. It is the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide. All the artists coming to Armenian understand how important this year is to us. There will be concerts during the festival dedicated to the jubilees of distinguished people.”, informed Sergey Smbatyan.

The closing ceremony will be unprecedented. On December 5 State Youth Orchestra of Armenia will present an innovation. The Youth Orchestra will present Khachaturian’s works with jazz instrumentation.

Pianists Levon Malkhasyan, Vahagn Hayrapetyan, Anna Vinnitskaya, Ruben Asatryan, Armine Grigoryan, Arus Adjemian, saxophonist Armen Hyusnunts, conductors Miran Vaupotić, Hovhannes Chekijyan, Gianluca Marciano etc. participate in the event.
