YEREVAN, JULY 25, ARMENPRESS: Before the working visit to Georgia, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Hovik Abrahamyan made a stop at the Bagratashen border checkpoint. The press service of the Government of the Republic of Armenia informed Armenpress that Abrahamyan toured in the checkpoint and got acquainted with the modernization works.

It was noted that the construction, interior and exterior design, and communication works of five buildings of Bagratashen are now underway. The responsible reported that the major part of the works has already been completed and it is expected that the newly-built checkpoint will be put into operation according to the schedule, during the first trimester of the next year.
