YEREVAN, 26 FEBRUARY, ARMENPRESS. In one year, Armenia exported over $6,321,000 in wine, exceeding last year’s indicator by nearly 50 percent. In 2014, Armenia exported 2,120,700 liters of wine, compared to the 1,398,500 liters in 2013.

As “Armenpress” reports, most of the Armenian wines (1,713,800 liters) were exported to the Russian Federation. Large amounts of wine were also exported to Belarus, China, Switzerland and other countries. Last year, Armenia exported 65,200 liters of wine to Belarus and 44,600 liters to China. Switzerland received more than 25,000 liters of Armenian wine, while Ukraine and France received 18,200 liters and 16,100 liters, respectively. For the first time, Armenia also exported 507 liters of wine to Japan.
