Culture Ministry to organize great number of Genocide centenary events
19:17, 27 December, 2014YEREVAN, DECEMBER 27, ARMENPRESS: In 2015 the events, related to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide, will be prior among the works, to be carried out by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia. Armenpress reports that the Minister of Culture Hasmik Poghosyan told about it at the annual press conference held on December 27.
“It is very important what we want to say by the events devoted to the centenary of the Armenian Genocide. That saying should be directed to us and the entire world. We should tell our history once again, which we have lived during the century after the Genocide. It is important that we present that history precisely and for that purpose the Ministry of Culture, with assistance of the History Museum, the State Archive, the Institute of History and the Mother See, have initiated an exhibition, devoted to our history after the Genocide”, - said Hasmik Poghosyan.
