YEREVAN, 24 NOVEMBER, ARMENPRESS. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg has expressed his concern over the cases of violence in Nagorno-Karabakh. As RIA Novosti reports to “ArmenPress”, this is what Stoltenberg talked about during the NATO Parliamentary Assembly in The Hague.

“I’m concerned about the recent incidents in Nagorno-Karabakh and the cases of violence. I don’t believe NATO can play any direct role in this, but the North Atlantic Treaty Organization supports the Minsk Group process aimed at creating conditions for an enduring peaceful settlement in Nagorno-Karabakh through negotiations,” Stoltenberg said. The NATO Secretary General added that there is no alternative to a political settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
