YSU rector meets DAAD office manager

YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 12, ARMENPRESS: Today, DAAD office Manager Tina Laufer was received by YSU Rector Aram Simonyan. She presented the exchange programs, available for young researchers and students. Armenpress was informed by the Yerevan State University that the meeting was attended by vice-rectors Gegham Gevorgyan, Alexander Grigoryan and Head of the International Cooperation Office Alexander Markarov.
 
Aram Simonyan noted that DAAD-YSU cooperation is very important for our students and, in general, the development of science at the university.
 
“Even though the academic year has just started, but the field of international cooperation is already quite active, particularly with our German partners. No doubt, you have got great contribution here, for which we are very grateful,” - said Aram Simonyan, adding that the university administration will do everything possible to expand this cooperation.
 
Vice-rector Alexander Grigoryan also thanked the guest for the visit and stressed on the fact that each year DAAD provides more students with scholarship opportunities.
 
Tina Laufer said that the cooperation with YSU is not only effective, but also very pleasant: “I often repeat in my reports that we always register positive results cooperating with YSU, so this cooperation is very important for us, too”.
 
Then Tina Laufer handed YSU Rector the complete package of the DAAD Scholarship Program. As for the allocation of scholarships, application procedures and admission, all these details will be discussed with Alexander Markarov. After the discussions faculties will be provided with this information.
