New integration conditions created for Syrian-Armenian children in general educational institutions

YEREVAN, AUGUST 29, ARMENPRESS. In the beginning of the new academic year, new integration conditions are being created in general educational institutions for Syrian-Armenian children settled in Armenia because of the Syrian crises. Although “Cilician” school for Syrian-Armenian children, which worked for a long term, now is closed, but according to the Head of General Education Department of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenia Narine Hovhannisyan, the Syrian- Armenian pupils are always in the center of attention of the state and Ministry of Education and Science, and they try to organize the integration activities for them more fluently.

In conversation with “Armenpress”, Narine Hovhannisyan said: “We had 700 Syrian-Armenian pupils and we always show good attitude towards them. We worked with them even after the classes so that they could learn Armenian easily as well as to be able to learn other subjects as well.”
