YEREVAN, JULY 29, ARMENPRESS. Turkish-Laz writer Serkan Engin’s poem about Armenian, Assyrian and Greek Genocide is already available for the readers. As reports “Armenpress”, the poem is titled “Barbarian and Mrs. Daisy" and is posted in American advanced-guard singer Diamanda Galas’s website diamandagalas.com. Serkan Engin’s mother is Turkish, father is Laz, but Serkan considers himself as a Laz, as it is shameful for him to carry his mother’s ancestors’ crime.  Serkan’s “Intolerable shame of  being a Turk” article states: “I refuse to consider myself as a Turkish, because my Turkish ancestors, realized the Armenian Genocide in the Ottoman Empire.  Turks and Kurds brutally killed 1.5 million Armenians, raped small children, burnt them alive and stole all Armenians’ wreath. Thousands of Assyrians were killed along with the Armenians in the Ottoman Turkey.”
