YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS.  The July 23 statement of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group had some positive changes. In a conversation with “Armenpress” this was stated by David Babayan, the Press Secretary of the NKR President.

"It was one of the classic statements, but with some positive changes, as it notes about the murder of civilians as a result of ceasefire violation and urges to avoid the deliberate targeting of villages and the civilian population,” said Babayan. At the same time, the Press Secretary of the NKR President considers that the statements should be more substantial and should clearly condemn the side, which violates the ceasefire - Azerbaijan.

"If Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire, sending a subversive group to Karvachar, the statement should have condemned that side or specifically outlined the obligation to refrain from such steps. Let’s consider that the first step was taken, and that the future statements will be more substantial," he said.
