ICRC negotiating with Azerbaijan on guarantees of maintaining ceasefire during farm work

YEREVAN, JULY 21, ARMENPRESS. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) is negotiating with the Azerbaijani authorities on the guarantees of maintaining the ceasefire regime during the farm work in the border communities of Armenia's Tavush Province. In a conversation with “Armenpress”, the Head of Communication Programs of the Yerevan Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross Zara Amatuni stated that they encourage, when people turn to them for help in case of necessity.

Among other things, the Head of Communication Programs of the Yerevan Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross Zara Amatuni underscored: "When they turn to us to provide security during the realization of certain activities, we start the process and begin negotiations to get guarantees. We deploy our employee to that territory with his vehicle." In addition, the Head of Communication Programs of the Yerevan Office of the International Committee of the Red Cross Zara Amatuni noted that currently they are involved in the talks.
