According to new agreement Armenian citizens can stay in Russia for 30 days without registration

YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS. In the frames of the working visit to Russia of the governmental delegation headed by Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan, an agreement on the stay of the Armenian citizens in the territory of Russia and the Russian citizens in the territory of Armenia was signed between the Governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation in Sochi. As “Armenpress” was informed from the Department of Information and Public Relations of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the document was signed in the presence of the Armenian and Russian Prime Ministers, Hovik Abrahamyan and Dmitry Medvedev. The agreement was signed by the Head of the State Migration Service of Armenia’s Ministry of Territorial Administration Gagik Yeganyan and the Head of the Russian Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky.

The agreement allows the Armenian and Russian citizens to stay on the territory of the other state within 30 days without migration registration.

The agreement will create favorable conditions for the Armenian citizens traveling to Russia, including the migrant workers.
