YEREVAN, MAY 15, ARMENPRESS. To enrich the Armenian students’ knowledge of the U.S. history, culture, literature, traditions, values ​​and geography - a new game has been created. The presentation of the intellectual and interactive game "Discover America" created by the joint efforts of the U.S. Embassy in Armenia and «Dasaran.am» educational program of the NGO “New Generation School”, took place on May 15, in No. 125 Yerevan school. The presentation ceremony was attended by the U.S. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Armenia John Heffern ,  the Chairman of the NGO  “New Generation School”, the founder of  «Dasaran.am» educational program Suren Aloyan, the Head of the Department of Education  at the Yerevan Municipality Gayane Soghomonyan.  During the event, pupils aged 11-15 competed with each other.

The U.S. Ambassador to the Republic of Armenia John Heffern toured the school's computer auditorium, communicated with the students and teachers, talked about the game, as well as presented to the school the children’s book “Clara Barton: Our Angel, Too” , published recently through the efforts of the U.S. Embassy. The Ambassador stressed that it was a pleasure to be in school No. 125.
