Syrian-Armenian and Arab youth hold March in Yerevan in memory of Syrian war victims

YEREVAN, APRIL 16, ARMENPRESS. The Syrian-Armenian and Arab young people held a march from Matenadaran to the Embassy of Syria. The member of the Pupils and Students’ Council of Syria Manvel Kostanyan informed Armenpress that the march is devoted to the Independence Day of Syria and the Syrian War, as well as to the memory of the victims during the self-defense in Kessab and directed against Erdogan’s administration.

“We hold a march for the sake of those victims that became the casualty of this war. Some of them were Armenians. We also express our support to all those who are currently in Syria and live in the war,” Manvel Kostanyan said.

The march began by the Syrian anthem, and then the participants sang the national anthem of Armenia. The march continued until the Syrian Embassy to Armenia with reinforcing calls to the President of Syria, army and people.
