YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS: A scientific conference entitled ,,General Movses Silikyan” took place in ,,Sardarapat” memorial dedicated to the 150th anniversary of Lieutenant-General Movses Silikyan on September 14. As Armenpress was informed from the Information and Public Relations Department of Ministry of Defense Seyran Ohanyan presented with the opening speech during the conference.

When introducing the paths of Movses Silikyan Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan has highlighted that his name is not only valuable as a commander of Sardarapat battle but indeed as a model of real commander.

A number of historians presented with speeches and lectures with more detailed presentation of general-lieutenant family history, as well as the heroic episodes of military leader.

A comprehensive plan of activities is included in the framework of 150th anniversary of Movses Silikyan.
