YEREVAN, MARCH 24, ARMENPRESS. Captain of Armenia’s national football team and Manchester United midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan assures the team will play for victory.

“All players are in good spirit ahead of the match with Kazakhstan, everyone is training very well, we all know the value of this match. I think we will be very well prepared for the match. Of course we will play for victory. In each match all of us have expectations for victory. In the previous match we were losing 0:2, but we won 3:2. The fans are also waiting for a victory in this match. All competitors are very difficult competitors for us, there is no easy competitor for us. It simply depends on how we will train for the match, how we will study the opponent, how much luck will help us. We study the Kazakhs step by step, we haven’t completely finished yet. We still have a few days ahead. I think the coach will present everything to us and will help us in finding their weak and strong sides”, Mkhitaryan told reporters.

He also said he had a minor injury in Manchester. “Now everything is okay, I feel good and I will be ready for the upcoming match of the national team”, he said.

Armenia will play against Kazakhstan on March 26 in Yerevan.
