Strong earthquake hits central Italy

YEREVAN, JANUARY 18, ARMENPRESS. A strong earthquake with 5.3 magnitude hit the central Italy, RT reports.
It was felt with tremors reportedly across the regions of Abruzzo, Marche and Lazio, including the city of Rome.
There are no reports on killed and damages yet.
The epicenter is understood to be just 7km from the town of Amatrice, the scene of a devastating 6.1 magnitude earthquake in August 24 2016, which claimed 297 lives.
