YEREVAN, DECEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs of Armenia Mr. Hrachya Rostomyan commented on the disagreements between him and President of Armenia’s Football Federation Mr. Ruben Hayrapetyan.

Asked why they have disputes and disagreements, the minister said there is no such problem. He mentioned he is ready to realize his goals aimed at development of football. “I didn’t say I will bring new footballers, I said I will bring experts. I will continue to move my promises forward. The Football Federation doesn’t lack finances, because it receives financing from international structures. If it will lack, we will definitely help”, Rostomyan said.

Rostomyan announced on October 13 that he is concerned over the results of Armenia’s national football team. “The results are concerning and not enough. There are numerous problems. We are dealing with every issue which starts to be concerning, regardless what sports it is: football, wrestling or others”, he said. He had mentioned they would invite football experts to have discussions.
