LIVE: Catholicosate of Cilicia briefs on ECHR lawsuit against Turkey
16:49, 7 December 2016BRUSSELS, DECEMBER 7, ARMENPRESS. The Catholicosate of the Great House of Cilicia holds a press conference aimed at presenting the process of submitting a lawsuit to the European Court of Human Rights over the return of the Sis Catholicosate, reports "Armenpress".
It was expected the lawsuit must have been submitted to the ECHR on December 6 in Strasbourg.
On December 5 Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia Aram I announced that Turkey’s Constitutional Court rejected the request of the Catholicosate over the return of the Sis Catholicosate. This served as base to submit a legal case to the ECHR on this issue.
