YEREVAN, DECEMBER 5, ARMENPRESS. Deputy Speaker of Parliament Eduard Sharmazanov urges not to be surprised that PAP founder Gagik Tsarukyan has made a decision on returning to politics. Speaking on the rumors regarding Tsarukyan’s return to politics, Sharmazanov said it is his right to do so.

“I am amicably urging you, do not look backwards, look forward. Elections will come, we’ll see. Don’t be surprised that he is returning, it’s his right whether to return or nor”, he said.

Sharmazanov added that he and the chairman of his party made comments once not against the individual, but against the occurrences. “We still maintain our opinion, that we reject all bad occurrences, and we approve all positive occurrences, opinions which are appropriate in the political culture. We have never labeled individuals, we have commented on occurrences”, he said.

He added his principles in politics and political occurrences hasn’t changed. “We are in favor of maintaining appropriateness, tolerance, principles of literate political culture and free competition. Everything flows, everything changes. I think one doesn’t step into the same river twice, they won’t step into the same negative river the second time. We expect a free, fair, open and transparent competition with everyone”, Sharmazanov said.
