YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 24, ARMENPRESS. Vahan Martirosyan – minister of transportation, communication and information technologies announced his decision on joining the ruling party – Republican Party of Armenia.

During a briefing after the Cabinet meeting, the minister said no one has forced him to join the party.

“Today the Prime Minister also mentioned that there is nothing forceful. I have submitted my application. We work as a team and will join the Republican Party as a team”, he said.

At the beginning of the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan announced that he is joining the party as well. Earlier defense minister Vigen Sargsyan also announced about joining the ruling party.

The RPA will discuss the applications during the upcoming party congress on November 26.
