YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 14, ARMENPRESS. Minister of Finance Vardan Aramyan says dissolving state non commercial organizations (SNCO) attached to different state agencies is a very painful process, but necessary.

“Cuts of jobs is a very difficult thing, since we very well understand that those people have families”, the minister said referring to the resulting cuts in jobs of the dissolution process of SNCOs.

“It is impossible to have an efficient expenditure policy and economy without painful steps. We have to understand what’s important for us. The important thing is to spend the tax money efficiently”, the minister said.

According to the minister, it was very difficult for him to make the decision after personally speaking to the SNCO representatives.

The minister says around 150-200 million AMD can be saved through these actions.
