YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. The delegation led by the President of the National Council of the Slovak Republic Andrej Danko arrived in Armenia on November 2. Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly Eduard SHarmazanov met the delegation at “Zvartnots” airports.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the staff of Eduard Sharmazanov, during the conversation the sides highlighted the deepening of relations between the parliaments, as well as cooperation on international platforms. Referring to the recognition and condemnation of the Armenian Genocide by the Slovak Republic, the Vice President of the Armenian National Assembly noted, “The condemnation of the Armenian Genocide by the Slovak Republic reaffirmed that crimes against humanity have no time limitations. We are obliged to carry out a unified struggle against the Turkish denialism and for the sake of protecting human rights. In this context, your efforts aimed at Armenian Genocide condemnation  can be exemplary for many European parliamentarians”.
