YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 2, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani forces violated the ceasefire regime around 40 times in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact, the Defense Ministry of Nagorno Karabakh told ARMENPRESS.

The ministry’s announcement reads: “Overnight November 1-2 Azerbaijan violated the ceasefire regime in the Nagorno Karabakh-Azerbaijan line of contact around 40 times, firing more than 560 shots from various caliber small arms at Armenian positions.

In addition to small arms, Azerbaijani forces fired RPG 7 anti-tank (5 projectiles) and GP-25 (3 projectiles) under-barrel type grenade launchers in the northern direction of the line of contact.

The Defense Army forces maintained the ceasefire regime and took countermeasures only in case of strict necessity.”
