President Sargsyan takes part in EPP summit in Maastricht, Netherlands
17:17, 20 October 2016YEREVAN, OCTOBER 20, ARMENPRESS. President Serzh Sargsyan took part in the European People’s Party (EPP) summit in Maastricht, Netherlands. The summit was chaired by EPP President Joseph Daul.
President of the European Council Donald Tusk, President of the European Commission Jean Claude Juncker, leaders of states and governments representing EPP parties from European Union and Eastern Partnership member states took part in the summit.
Within the framework of the agenda, participants of the summit discussed the preparation works of the upcoming session of the European Council, developments of the migrant crisis, and issues regarding EU’s economic and foreign policy.
President Sargsyan delivered a speech during the summit on regional issues and challenges.
President Sargsyan also signed the Honorary Guest Book of the Limburg Governor’s Office, the venue of the summit.
