YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs will visit the region in the end of October, American Co-Chair James Warlick told the Azerbaijani APA news agency, reports “Armenpress”.

He said the dates of the visit are still unknown. He expressed hope to meet the Presidents of the two states within the framework of the visit.

Warlick welcomed France’s proposal to hold the next summit there. “France, Russia and US as a Minsk Group Co-Chairing countries are closely cooperating to continue the mediation efforts aimed at establishing lasting peace”, Warlick said.

To the question whether it is possible to suspend talks ahead of parliamentary elections in Armenia, Warlick said: “I don’t have powers to comment on Armenia’s elections. But the sides are committed to the peaceful settlement and we don’t think anything will change”.
