YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 21, ARMENPRESS. US President Barack Obama thanks Armenia for responding to the Syrian refugee crisis and for its input in global peacekeeping operations, Obama said it in the congratulatory message addressed to President Serzh Sargsyan on the occasion of independent Armenia’s 25th anniversary.

“We thank Armenia for its support of our shared goals, particularly its response to the Syrian refugee crisis and its contributions to global peacekeeping operations and nuclear security. We will continue to work together to help Armenia realize its full potential”, the message reads, reports “Armenpress”.
