President Sargsyan releases Artur Davtyan from post of Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia
17:40, 15 September 2016YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 15, ARMENPRESS. President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has issued a decree releasing Artur Davtyan from the post of the Deputy Prosecutor General of Armenia, “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of Armenian President’s Office.
Earlier, the Armenian Parliament elected Artur Davtyan as Prosecutor General of Armenia. Artur Davtyan was nominated as candidate for the Armenian Prosecutor General’s post. From 130 MPs 103 took part in the voting. 3 ballots were declared invalid. 97 MPs voted in favor of Artur Davtyan’s candidacy, and 3 voted against.
