YEREVAN, AUGUST 13, ARMENPRESS. Foreign Ministers of Russia and Germany Sergei Lavrov and Frank Walter Steinmeier will hold an official meeting in Yekaterinburg on August 15.

They will discuss settlements in Syria and Ukraine, issues of the European security and fighting terrorism, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said on August 13, TASS reported.

"At the negotiations, the Foreign Ministers will discuss current aspects of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres," the Ministry said. "Sergei Lavrov and Frank Walter Steinmeier will continue the exchange of opinions on key international issues, including progress in implementation of the Minsk agreements on settlement of the Ukrainian crisis, and progress of the peace process in Syria, on issues of the European security, and on fighting international terrorism."

Prior to the negotiations Lavrov and Steinmeier will take part in the opening ceremony of the Russian-German Summer School "Development of Energy Sector. Modern Challenges" at the Urals University.
