Hostage paramedic Salvador Khechoyan manages to exit seized police precinct
17:05, 30 July 2016YEREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. Paramedic Salvador Khechoyan, who was being held hostage in the police precinct, has managed to leave the area.
Healthcare Ministry spokeswoman Anahit Haytayan confirmed the report with ARMENPRESS and said :”He wasn’t released. He got out to assist one of the wounded gunmen and managed not to enter the area again”.
According to her, they have no information regarding the two other paramedics – Norayr Tevanyan and Malina Margaryan.
On July 27 gunmen have taken paramedics hostage in the police precinct. Four paramedics were taken hostage, one of them was released due to health problems.
