Armenian village back to normal life after Azerbaijani fire

YEREVAN, JULY 22, ARMENPRESS. The Azerbaijani side again fired at Movses village of Tavush province, in an interview with “Armenpress”, community head Ararat Avalyan confirmed this information. He said fortunately there are no damages and causalities. He said previously the Azerbaijanis were firing towards the village in the evenings, this time they crossed the line and fired at the village when the children were playing outside.

“Thursday is their day of “shooting range”, we have understood this from their behavior. These days they are firing at the Armenian positions, we already know what is happening. But such kind of shootings has not been happened for a long time. There have been sporadic shots, but not when children were playing”, Ararat Avalyna said. He informed that the children, of course, were frightened, but after two hours they continued playing outside. “Our people’s will cannot be broken”, he said.

He said the village’s life is going well, everyone is engaged in his/her daily activities. “At this moment farmers continue working”, he said.

As for opening fire in response, Avalyan said the Armenian side tries not to aggravate the situation.

“Armenpress” also talked with the heads of Nerkin Karmiraghbyur and Aygepar villages who said there had been no shots towards their villages, the situation is calm.
