YEREVAN, JUNE 23, ARMENPRESS. The Government has approved the strategy of improving reproductive health and the 2016-2020 action plan.

Healthcare Minister Armen Muradyan said the document will improve accessibility of service and medical aid in reproductive health field throughout Armenia, ensure the effective organization of medical aid and treatment, improvement of quality and effectiveness as well as contribute to the increase of birth rate linked with healthcare factor.

According to him, the strategy targets Armenian citizens, including 793800 women aged 15-49, as well as medical personnel of the reproductive health field, professional educational institutions, and scientific centers.
