Tbilisi hosts World Congress on CBRNe Science & Consequence Management

YEREVAN, MAY 30, ARMENPRESS. The CSCM – World Congress on CBRNe Science & Consequence Management launched on May 30 in Tbilisi, Georgia.

The meeting provides a specific focus on chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) counterproliferation and counterterrorism issues with the goal of better understanding and acting to minimize the CBRNe threat.

The Congress will explore the scientific, technical, medical, policy, and consequence management aspects, as well as the effects of CBRNe threats on communities and the individual in addition to each layer of infrastructure and government echelon.

The Congress historically involves between two and three hundred participants from forty or more countries. The International Organizing Committee (IOC), based for this event in Tbilisi, Georgia, is comprised of representatives of Georgian ministries and international scientific and academic institutions from other nations.
