YEREVAN, MAY 25, ARMENPRESS. Foreign minister of Armenia Edward Nalbandian received the president and vice-president of France-Armenia friendship group of the French parliament Rene Ruke and François Rochblau on May 25. The sides highly appreciated the solid partnership between the parliaments of the two countries, and the close cooperation in parliamentary assemblies of international organizations.

As “Armenpress” was informed from the press service of MFA Armenia, Edward Nalbandian highlighted the visit of the French parliamentarians to Artsakh for familiarizing themselves with the consequences of Azerbaijani aggression on their own, as well as the efforts of NKR leadership to overcome them.

The press release reads as follows, “Minister Nalbandian introduced the measures aimed at implementing the agreements between the Armenian and Azerbaijani presidents reached in Vienna.

The Armenian Foreign minister stated the role of France as an OSCE Minsk Group Co-chair country, stressing the important contribution that France and the other Co-chair countries had in terms of the agreements reached in Vienna.

The French MPs assured that they will continue to contribute to exclusively peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict”.
